The old asthetics of Delhi
Delhi is one of the most important historical cities. It has a land of towers, turrets, tombs, temples, mausoleums, monuments, forts, etc. It has been the seat of many ancient empires, kingdoms, kings and princes. It has always been the centre of great Indian movements.
It’s daybreak in Delhi and the streets are singing with car horns as taxis and rickshaws muscle past each other, weaving in and out of stray dogs, pedestrians and the occasional cow. India’s capital is more than overwhelming: it’s just so beautiful!
The sunlight cuts shapes through Chandni Chowk’s crammed streets, holding dust in the air and illuminating passersbys.
Between the pushiness of sellers, the inauthentic goods and the feeling that they're all the same, going to markets is typically something I don't recommend - but Dilli Haat is a truly enjoyable experience.
(Delhi Haat INA)Be it the griffin art works on the walls of Lodhi Garden, or the streets of Purani Delhi.
The beautiful Haveli Dharampura, which now holds the tag of being the most "asthetic and richly culture preserved authentic places in Delhi" you would surely not want a chai that costs you Rs. 600 but here you would love to do it because the views are just meant to be fallen in love with.
(Haveli Dharampura at New Delhi)Across the length and breadth of this country, Delhi is famous for it's markets.
Not even a single girl wouldn't have heard the name of "Sarojini Nagar".
Be it the sparkling traditional"jhumkas" at "Janpath" or the "Lapat Nagar".
The "Raja Garden" or the "Karol Bagh" Delhi has it's heart in the essence of being the city of so beautiful markets filled with immense amount of love and culture.
(Janpath market)Flee markets to the most expensive one like Khan Market, you get a tinch of all.
( A lane at Khan Market)How can we forget the art walls and artistic picturesque at Lodhi Gardens and Hauz Khas!
(Vibrant shops at Hauz Khas)Here we don't tend to forget, the most famous
"Majnu ka Tila" that gas got some really spicy and good food for us, the "minny Tibet of India".
If you are a Delhilte, you have already visited this place and the ones who are not it is for sure to go on the checklist especially if you are a foodie
(Majnu ka Tila- Tibetan Colony)So, the list this eay goes just endless, it could actually take years to pile up mere words in the appreciation of our capital city with the beauty and vibrance that it provides making it the most happening and joyful city.
Innumerable places to hangout, have food, chukle out with friends, family.
This colourful city gives you a tinch of everything. That's why "Delhi Dilliwalon ki" !
